Steve Bray, Managing Director said on achieving Investors in People “Meeting the Investors in People Standard is recognition of how much we value each team member and their dedication to the success of the organisation. Investors in People is the National Standard which sets out a level of good practice for the training and development of people to achieve business goals. It was developed in 1990 by the National Training Task Force in partnership with leading national businesses, personnel, professional and employee organisations such as the Confederation of British Industry, Trades Union Congress and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

General Manager Caroline North said “People need the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently and the Investors in People framework has helped us to find the most suitable means for achieving success through our people” The project presented SP Services with the opportunity to go “back to basics” and remind themselves of their core values as an organisation and the keys to their success over the first 15 years. Achieving the Investors in People Standard is just another chapter in the story for SP Services as they are committed to a program of continuous improvement throughout the organisation including a commitment to working towards other National business and environmental standards during the coming year.
