The semi-porous inner liner contains hundreds of absorbent crystals which absorb water to 90% capacity in just 3 minutes. Once the water is in there, it stays there and the bags act just like sandbags to keep floods at bay. They are designed so they mould into doorways to keep flood water out.
Simply immerse the FloodSax in water at the scene and their semi-porous inner liner has hundreds of absorbent crystals which retain the water against tremendous pressure.
The bags last for 5 years while stored and once inflated at the scene stay inflated for 6-8 weeks. They are UK-manufactured and tested and are ideal for areas vulnerable to flash floods. They are biodegradable so can be disposed of in landfill sites.
Supplied vacuum packed for easy of storage and deployment.
