Predictive / Direct Mode
The FasTemp thermometer can be used in either normal or predictive mode allowing the user to obtain accurate temperatures within 4-10 seconds (predictive) or within 3-5 minutes in the direct mode (a turtle icon identifies this mode). This provides the users with the opportunity to take temperatures with hypothermic patients as well.
Last Temperature Recall
Stores the last temperature obtained until the next is taken.
Push Button Probe Cover Removal
Allows the user to discard probe easily without risk of cross-contamination.
30 Seconds Pulse Timer
Provides a 'beep' at 30 seconds to assist pulse timing.
