BBC Radio Shropshire - Decontamination Kit Interview!

BBC Radio Shropshire - Decontamination Kit Interview!

Our Business Development Manager Paul Watts featured on BBC Radio Shropshire on the Wednesday 10th of October to talk about our innovative and exclusive Decontamination Kit.

Introduced in May 2018 in conjunction with West Mercia police, the kit features a unique piece of equipment called the Bottleshower, which can produce 10 litres of washing time from 1 litre of clean water – essential in acid attacks and noxious substance accidents as instructed by the 'Remove Remove Remove' graphic which exclusively features on the front of the bag.

Speaking to Chloe Hughes, BBC Radio Shropshire congratulated SP Services for their success as a Shropshire based company who have now supplied the kits to police forces across the UK, as well as other emergency services and professions nationwide.

The Decontamination Kit is designed to tackle accidents and incidents involving corrosive and noxious substances including those used in acid attacks. This also means there has been a great uptake of the kit in the security industry and those in the night time economy. The kit is easy to use, mobile and suitable for a wide range of industries and incidents, including for factories that use chemicals in their production.

If you would like further information on our Decontamination Kit then please contact Paul Watts or Charlotte Crick.
