Brexit Has Made UK Exports Even More Competitive

Following the referendum on the 23rd June, and the subsequent decision to leave the EU, the global currency markets quickly reacted and the Pound fell overnight by around 10% against the US Dollar. This fall has continued over the past 3 months and the Pound hit a new record 31-year low of 1.28 last week, that's 14% lower than the pre-Brexit rate of around 1.49. The Pound has also fallen sharply against the Euro, a drop of 10% since Brexit.
