Celox Stops Bleeding Fast & Helps Save Lives!

Celox Stops Bleeding Fast & Helps Save Lives!

Uncontrolled haemorrhage is responsible for over 35% of pre-hospital deaths and catastrophic bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death, both in civilian life, and on the battlefield.

The solution: Celox™!

Celox trauma products have helped save the lives of civilians since 2006!

Celox haemostats use a high-quality chitosan formulation, scientifically developed as a fast-acting, safe and highly effective haemostat which work independently of the body’s classic coagulation pathway and does not generate heat. Celox haemostats can rapidly promote clot formation, through absorption and dehydration forming a gel-like plug.

The mechanism of action for Celox granules is through the absorption of fluid in the blood, swelling and sticking together to create a robust mechanical gel-like clot that plugs the bleeding source and seals the wound. This mechanism works independently of the classical coagulation pathways (i.e., does not initiate a thrombogenic response.

How to control life-threatening bleeding with Celox Applicator?

The Celox-A applicator with Celox granules is a specifically designed delivery system that gives you an easy, safe and effective way to stop life-threatening bleeding from difficult to treat penetrating trauma.

The instinctive applicator allows you to get the Celox granules through a small entry wound, directly to the bleeding site in just a few seconds. The applicator is vacuum packed, sterile and lightweight, and can be easily stored within your existing trauma pouch.

For knife, bullet and any other penetrating wound, the Celox Applicator does what Celox does best, stops bleeding and saves lives.

Product Benefits

Understanding proper haemorrhage control methods and applying them quickly is the key to reducing unnecessary deaths due to uncontrolled bleeding. In the UK, haemostats can only be used by trained emergency responders, though this can be as simple as a first aid course and a course on how to use haemostats. Lots of advice and training on haemostats and trauma care can be found at the Celox Academy.
