The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) reviews evidence about resuscitation and makes global recommendations in the field of resuscitation.
The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) is one of the founding members of ILCOR. Our UK resuscitation guidelines are based on their recommendations.
ILCOR has now begun the continuous evidence evaluation (CEE) process. Task Forces are reviewing the population-intervention-comparator-outcomes (PICO) questions from the 2005, 2010 and 2015 International Consensus Conferences.
Everyone is affected by the result of this ILCOR work, every citizen, rescuer, paramedic, nurse, doctor, training organisation, regional and national resuscitation council. This is why it is important that we all get involved in this process where possible.
As a stakeholder in resuscitation care and first aid, we encourage you and your organisation to participate in the PICO question public comment process.
You are invited to give your opinion in relation to the prioritisation of the Task Force PICO questions. You can register your comments via the link below, on the following topics:
• First Aid
• Advanced Life Support
• Basic Life Support
• Paediatric Life Support
• Education, Implementation and Teams
• Neonatal Life Support
We are proud to be able to extend this opportunity to you.
Please note, the deadline for commenting is Monday, 12th June 2017 at 19:00 CET.
