Here is a photo of the handover of the medical supplies SP Services donated to the Tanzanian Street Children’s’ Project in August 2015.
FISCH stands for Future for Iringa Street Children and was founded in 2007. Their activities are holistic – they target physical, social and educational needs which include food, shelter within a family environment, health care, schooling, moral awareness and children being given opportunities to thrive. FISCH currently looks after around 100 street children.
The medical supplies donated by SP are helping to equip the team at FISCH set up a medical room. Child and infant mortality is still a big problem in the poorer regions of sub-Saharan Africa and these medical supplies will help the staff provide a range of services for the street children. The photos shows the handover of the supplies to Josef Alex, Head of FISCH and some of the many street children.
