 A new year means the perfect time to introduce our amazing Business Development and Customer Services team. Whether you’re new to SP or have been a loyal customer of ours for many years, you may or may not be familiar with the people on the end of the phone or behind the computer screens that help you with your orders every day.


From assisting you with your orders, to advising the marketing team on key campaigns to run throughout the year, both teams are at the heart of everything we do.

From the beginning we made it our mission to fill our company with people who are passionate about what they do. We wanted them to share the visions and values of our company so that they could show these through the work that they do and within the community that we’re a part of.

They love what they do and they love whom they do it with!

So, let us introduce our teams that directly deal with our customers on a daily basis…

Business Development Team – How They Help!

Our business development team plays a vital role within SP Services when it comes to identifying areas of opportunity: new products, new markets, new partnerships, and new distribution channels. They work closely with all of our key sectors including the Emergency medical Services, Business and Industry, Education, Military and many more.

Our Business Development team are always at the end of the phone to help you with new enquiries, product information, quotes, offer advice for the types of products you need and custom kits. They are more than happy to give you the most competitive pricing possible and will work tirelessly to ensure their contacts are satisfied and make sure they aren’t impeded in the procurement process.

A close-knit group of 4 members of staff, having over 12 years of experience between them, have established long-lasting contacts with some of their key customers. Let’s meet them…

Meet the team…


Jules Sarginson

Jules joined SP in October 2019, and has an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting customer’s needs. She has an eye for business relations and carries her professionalism where ever she goes integrates into the team fantastically and with little to no issues or adjustment pains. She has recently taken over the mantle of team leader based off of her stand out attitude and plethora of experience in similar roles.

Lucinda Culver

Lucinda joined SP over six years ago as a Customer services apprentice, and her role has developed considerably within the company because of her enthusiasm, positivity and willingness to develop across the business. Having worked across many areas of the business including working face to face with our customers in the shop, Lucinda is a key member of the team and truly understands what each of our customers wants when placing their order or sourcing new equipment for their area.

“You have to be driven and you have to be focused in my role because of the nature of the products that we are supplying. But most importantly I think being relatable allows me to create meaningful contacts and orders.”

Dragita Price

Dragita joined SP over 4 years ago and initially worked within our purchasing team and was responsible for stock control, ensuring that appropriate stock levels were maintained and that stock turnover was at an appropriate level. Therefore, Dragita has extensive knowledge of all of the products that she is supplying to our customers. Having moved over to our business development team over 18 months ago Dragita is now focused on building her customer accounts, maintaining exiting ones and building lasting relationships with every sector.

Stephen Birley

Stephen joined the SP team as our newest Business Development Manager as we celebrated our 30th year back in June 2019.

Stephen will be covering the entire Southern half of the UK where he will be supporting customers from Cornwall to East Anglia and down the South Coast (including South Wales), right over to London and the Home Counties.

Stephen has spent over thirty years serving as a volunteer Special Sergeant with the Metropolitan Police as well as having a degree in Biochemistry and more than fifteen years of Medical Supplies and Business Continuity experience involving trauma and evacuation training. 

“I want all customers to look at SP Services as the first place to call for all their emergency first aid and medical needs. I’m also keen to look at areas where first aid is essential, such as the construction and transport sectors, where I have previous experience.”

Customer Services Team - How They Help

Our customer service team is here every weekday to take your orders, process returns, provide information about our products and services, and answer all of your queries. By helping you understand the product and service our customer services team will also help you to make more informed decisions on the products you are purchasing. 

Meet the team…


Kully Kaur

Our longest-serving member here at SP Services, Kully has been with SP for over 17 years and many of you will know Kully as she is responsible for looking after all of our key accounts as well as running our export department. Having worked with SP for such a long time, Kully is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the business and to all of the sectors that we served. She has been instrumental in helping SP grow to where it is today.

Kully has recently moved across from our business development team to head up our customer services team and continues to give 110% to the business and to all of her customers.

Julia Crick

Having switched from teaching primary school children to selling medical products to all of our sectors, Julia has been a brilliant asset to the team. Julia oozes enthusiasm and has built strong relationships with some of key accounts since joining the business in 2018 and nothing is too big or small of a job to do when it comes to working with her.

Natalie Rowley

Natalie joined SP over 2 years ago on the apprenticeship for Business Admin and worked very closely with all teams so that she could gain the valuable knowledge she needed for the apprenticeship. Natalie successfully completed the apprenticeship in 2019 and is a full-time member of our team with a main focus on processing all of our website orders.

Lenni Mcglynn

Last but by no means least, our newest member of the team is Lenni, who joined us just under a year ago and has quickly picked up the SP ropes. At the end of every year we host a staff awards event where each individual nominates a member of staff for the chosen categories and in 2019 Lenni won 'Best Newcomer'. She has made a great impression on all of our staff as well as our customers.
