SAM 25mm Needle Assembly - Single

Designed for use with the SAM IO® Driver, this 25mm needle can be used to gain fast and stable intraosseous access anytime when vascular access is difficult in an emergency.

Each needle has a stylet/catheter combination with a snap-fit connection to ensure a stable and secure lock during insertion and features a unique 5-point grind. This design creates five individual cutting features, unlike many on the market today that only have a 3-point grind, resulting in smoother and more efficient penetration of cortical bone and enabling rapid access in time-sensitive emergencies.

SAM IO needles can remain in place for up to 24 hours after placement.

The needles are available in three sizes to match the needs of the patient: 15mm (pink), 25mm (blue), and 45mm (yellow).

Compatible with the SAM IO Driver, SAM IO Stabiliser, and SAM IO Adaptor.

Please note: This product is a single item and does not include the SAM IO Driver, the 15mm needle, or the 45mm needle.

Length and Weight Recommendations

• 15 mm Pink needle: 3 – 39 kg
• 25 mm Blue needle: 3 kg and over
• 45 mm Yellow needle: 40 kg and over
