What is CPR?
CPR is there to maintain a flow of oxygenated blood artificially into the brain during cardiac arrest to prevent a serious brain damage until professional hands take over resuscitating the patient.
What does CPR stand for?
CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
The BRAYDEN is the first CPR Manikin ever to display a visual flow of blood from the heart to the brain during CPR.
The Chest Compression Indication Lights represent the volume of blood being circulated by the chest compression's. This volume will depend on the depth of the chest compression's. The lights on the CPR Manikin will only light up when the depth of compression is over 5cm.
The Blood Circulation Indicating Lights illuminate to represent the flow of blood from the heart to the Brain. The speed of the blood flow shown varies according to the depth and speed of the compression's during CPR. These will only light up fully when the rate of compression is over 100 per minute.
The CPR Quality Indicating Light illuminates to show that blood is reaching the brain and will only light fully when the depth and speed of the compression's are correct.
You can also purchase a BRAYDEN Conversion Kit to transform your BRAYDEN adult CPR manikin into a BRAYDEN junior CPR manikin.
It’s easy to convert, cost effective (so you don’t have to buy two separate training CPR manikins), practical and convenient, anatomically accurate and perfect for teaching CPR in schools.
