The Big Fish Ligature/seatbelt cutter with market-leading safety features is not only a heavy duty ligature and seatbelt cutter but also an excellent bag opener and packaging cutter.
With a mouth size of 9mm the Big Fish is ideal for cutting ropes and netting. (as a guide, the 9mm mouth will cut 12mm diameter ropes).
The wider opening to the mouth blade does mean that fingers can be placed near the blade. However, the risk of a stab or slashing injury is eliminated. It is almost impossible to cut yourself accidentally.
