Leukoplast Barrier Waterproof Plasters provide a two-way barrier to the risk of contamination and secondary bacterial and viral infections which can ultimately be life-threatening, for patients and care-givers alike.
Leukoplast Barrier plasters are waterproof and microporous, allowing the skin to breathe; preventing maceration whilst promoting faster healing.
Patients can wash and bathe as normal without compromising the protection, and the soft textured finish provides for a high degree of patient comfort.
The dressings have a skin friendly adhesive, are breathable, impermeable to oil, fat and grease and have a low adherent wound pad for easy removal.
Low-adherent pad provides cushioning and absorbency, and the low allergy acrylic adhesive means fewer skin reactions.
